Together lets build a brighter healthier future for all. /ph3Hills Sales Manager (SM) Responsibilities /h3pThe Hills Sales Manager (SM) is responsible to grow Hills business (sales distribution market share and Brand Recommended Most Often BRMO) in the assigned territory. /ppThe Sales Manager manages the customers both veterinary clinics and specialty pet retail stores in the assigned territory and ensures Hills is the strategic partner of choice for these customers and gain support to grow Hills business. /ph3What you will do : Product Knowledge /h3pDevelop and maintain high standards of knowledge in small animal nutritionHills and competitors products through company training and self-study. /ph3Territory Management /h3pAchieve territory sales targets managing orders collection through effective visits with customers and handling efficiently all the commercial / financial aspects and engaging all the internal stakeholders /ppReview potential of accounts within the territory (every year) /ppPromptly identify new accounts and secure strong presence and endorsement for Hills brands /ph3Maintain accurate records in the Hills reporting system /h3pLeverage all Company available tools to drive execution (Product DistributionDetailing material Staff Feeding Sampling Trial etc.) /ph3Clinic / Store Business Development /h3pDevelop deep knowledge of the customers business and organization; build a network with key decision makers / key influencers in the vet practice and specialty pet store in the assigned territory. /ppDevelop the business of the assigned area also by providing best in class professional support (detailing in-clinic / store seminars technical trainingmerchandising) reaching all key stakeholders in specified practices and stores collaborating with the Pet Vet Affairs (PVA) team ensuring an effective planning and active participation during the activities. /ppIdentify opportunities in the assigned customer base and develop technical and business propositions that meet the needs of both Hills and the customer resulting in BRMO leadership /ph3Manage multi store customers and some specific needs /h3pAwareness full distribution and active endorsement by the veterinary profession of Hills products /ppFull distribution excellent visibility and active endorsement of Hills products by the store staff /ppRapid acceptance endorsement and distribution of new products Establishment of shelf space and adequate inventory within each store /ph3Business Financial Management /h3pMonitor achievement of territory objectives vs target develops strategies to address changes in the business environment as appropriate /ph3Meetings Conferences /h3pRepresent Hills at meetings / conferences e.g. Trade shows Local and National meetings Client Meetings Clinic / Store Special events /ph3Education / Experience Required /h3pbMasters degree in Veterinary Animal Science or equivalent /b /ppPrevious sales experience required minimum at least 2 / 3 yrs (nutrition company veterinary industry or pharmaceutical company) /ph3Additional competencies / skills /h3pExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) /ppStrong selling skills.
