We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our DaV Mare Restaurant team.
The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality and comfortable with challenges. He/She is willing to provide authentic and luxury experiences, demonstrating care, confidence, curiosity and community.
Main duties & responsibilities
* Oversee and support the operations in the restaurant to ensure an enjoyable dining experience
* Manage opening and closing of the restaurant
* Respond to customer needs and questions
* Manage inventory operations
* Plan in conjunction with the Restaurant Managers all the activities and menu implementations
* Ensure that health and safety regulations are respected
* Lead and train the restaurant personnel to create a collaborative and efficient environment
Requirements
* Strong organizational skills; at least 2 years of experience in similar roles
* Proven track record of managing and motivating a team
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Strong organizational and problem‑solving abilities
* Proficiency in restaurant management software (POS systems, reservation platforms, etc.)
* Solid understanding of food and beverage operations, including inventory management and local health and safety regulations
* Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages (e.g., Italian, Spanish) is a plus
* Strong customer service orientation and problem‑solving abilities
* HACCP certificate
