Job Summary
We are seeking a relationship‑driven and commercially minded professional to join our team as Account Manager (Hotels). In this role, you will be the face of HBX Group to our hotel partners, responsible for managing a defined geographic portfolio with a specific focus on contracting hotel partners in Sicily. You will lead contract negotiations, secure competitive rates, and ensure hotel performance and availability support our commercial goals. Working closely with internal teams, you will maximize revenue, optimize partnerships, and ensure strong supplier engagement.
Responsibilities
* Lead the full contracting process with hotel partners in both B2B and B2C environments, ensuring competitive rate agreements for HBX Group.
* Act as the Account Manager responsible for contracting all hotel partners within the Sicily region, ensuring strategic coverage and strong commercial outcomes.
* Negotiate contract renewal terms, including rates, inventory, offers, release periods, marketing contributions, overrides, and cancellation policies.
* Monitor the performance of each hotel and collaborate with the Yield Manager to ensure competitiveness and availability are optimized.
* Act as the key point of contact for accommodation suppliers, developing and maintaining strong, long‑term relationships.
* Support the resolution of major supplier or client complaints, ensuring effective solutions while preserving service quality and partnership health.
* Ensure suppliers fully understand HBX Group’s value proposition, technology, and marketing capabilities to help maximize their revenue potential.
Skillset and Experience Required
* Commercial Skills: Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify revenue opportunities, assess performance, and drive portfolio growth.
* Hotel & Travel Industry Experience: Experience working with hotels, travel suppliers, or within the travel sector, particularly in contracting, account management, or supplier relations.
* Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate competitive commercial terms and create mutually beneficial agreements.
* Relationship Management: Proven ability to build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with external partners.
* Analytical Mindset: Comfortable working with performance data, KPIs, and market insights to support decision‑making.
* Communication Skills: Clear, confident communicator able to influence internal and external stakeholders.
* Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities.
* Languages: Fluent English required; additional languages are a plus.
