For a Michelin star restaurant, we are currently recruiting a PASTRY CHEF.

* Development of specialty desserts for the Restaurant and Banquets.
* Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all procedures.
* Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.
* Maintain and strictly abide by state sanitation/health regulations requirements.
* Inspect the cleanliness and organization of the work station; rectify any deficiencies; maintain throughout theshift.
* Prepare and produce dessert menu items for the Restaurant and Banquets following recipes and yield guides, according to the standards.
* Keep Executive Chef informed of all responsibilities of Pastry Kitchen to include production schedules, dessert development, menu changes, etc.
* Review status of work and follow-up actions required with the team before leaving.
* Ability to manage production and expenses of the Pastry Kitchen in line with budget and forecast.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Pastry Chef or Pastry Sous Chef in a starred/fine dining/gourmet restaurant.
* Excellent organizational skills.
* Ability to work well under pressure of meeting production schedules and timelines. xivgfpx
