About the role
Essity is looking for a passionate and results-driven Brand Manager to lead the Tempo and Demak’Up brands in the Italian market. This is an exciting opportunity to take full ownership of two of Essity’s most iconic brands, driving their growth and visibility at a local level.
As Brand Manager, you will play a key strategic and operational role, with full responsibility for the P&L, brand equity, and market share development. You will lead the planning and execution of marketing initiatives and brand activations, ensuring alignment with the global strategy while tailoring actions to the specific needs of the Italian market.
You'll be part of a collaborative and international environment and report directly to the Marketing Manager Region South West. The role will be based at our offices in Legnano (MI).
What you will do:
Lead and implement the annual brand plans, defining local activation touchpoints in line with global guidelines.
Manage and monitor the A&P budget, ensuring proper allocation and usage.
Implement global marketing strategies at local level, maximizing the impact of digital and paid media, while minimizing non-working spend.
Activate, monitor, and optimize Brand & Innovation campaigns, taking full ownership of achieving the business case for product innovations.
Oversee all product lifecycle phases: launch, phase-in/out, distribution, and brand activation.
Manage assortment and pricing in line with local & global directives, collaborating with internal partners.
Lead consumer and customer insight gathering and translate findings into effective strategies.
Provide feedback and insights to help shape the global brand strategy.
Support and develop team members (if applicable), fostering their professional growth
Who you are:
Degree in Marketing, Economics, Business Management or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Brand Management or Trade/Consumer Marketing roles, preferably in FMCG or Healthcare sectors.
Solid knowledge of the marketing mix levers and product lifecycle management.
Strong business acumen and proven P&L ownership.
Experience managing ATL/BTL and digital campaigns.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and synthesis skills.
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a collaborative attitude.
