If you have a proven track record in indirect procurement, and a drive for excellence, we want to hear from you! /p pbThe Position: /b /p pHe/she will support the Head of Indirect Procurement to manage the procurement activities related to indirect goods and services within Alfasigma organization. /p pThis role involves developing and implementing effective supplier and category strategies, negotiating with suppliers, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement processes. /p pThe Indirect Procurement Senior Category Manager collaborates with various departments to understand their procurement needs and aligns procurement strategies to support the organization's overall goals and objectives. /p pbKey Responsibilities: /b /p pb1) Category and Supplier Strategy: /b /p ul liDevelop and implement strategic procurement plans for indirect goods and services. /li liAnalyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and industry best practices to identify procurement opportunities and risks. /li liIdentify potential suppliers, conduct supplier evaluations, and negotiate contracts and agreements. /li liBuild and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring high-quality products/services and timely deliveries. /li liMonitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement improvement plans as necessary. /li /ul pb3) Cost Management: /b /p ul liOptimize costs by negotiating favorable terms and conditions with suppliers. /li liIdentify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or service. /li /ul pb4) Collaboration and Communication: /b /p ul liCollaborate with internal stakeholders (such as departments requiring indirect goods/services) to understand their needs and requirements. /li liCommunicate procurement policies and procedures to internal teams, ensuring compliance and understanding of best practices. /li /ul pb5) Compliance and Risk Management: /b /p ul liEnsure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. /li liIdentify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions or supplier financial instability. /li /ul pb6) Contract Management: /b /p ul liDraft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring terms are favorable and in compliance with legal requirements. /li liMonitor contract performance, renew contracts as needed, and manage contract expiration and renewal processes. /li /ul pb7)Data Analysis and Reporting: /b /p ul liAnalyze procurement data to identify trends, track performance metrics, and prepare reports for management. /li liUtilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improve procurement processes. /li /ul pbRequirements: /b /p ul liMaster’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field. /li liProven experience in indirect procurement, preferably in a managerial role.
