Already serving clients in France, Belgium, The Netherlands, Norway and Italy, the IR & Communications team accompany the European expansion of Corporate Solutions across Europe. The Italian business is managed locally since, and address a portfolio of 40+ existing listed companies.
As Director of Sales for ECS Italy, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our client base among listed companies in the Italian market. You will lead the commercial promotion and delivery of Euronext Corporate Solutions’ suite of scalable, technology-driven investor relations, digital communications and capital markets solutions—including software platforms, market intelligence, advisory services, and analytics tools. Acting as a trusted commercial leader in the region, you will work closely with existing and prospective clients to support their journey on capital markets, helping them identify and engage with shareholders, collect investor perceptions, and work on their strategic positioning. You will actively build and manage a robust sales pipeline, ensure consistent execution of sales strategies, and represent ECS within the local financial ecosystem. Your capacity to drive a trusted and impactful relationship with Euronext Primary Market teams (Equity Listing, Elite) in Italy will be a key factor for your success. Your objective will be to strengthen ECS’s presence in Italy, deliver measurable commercial impact, and achieve the annual revenue targets for the region.
Key Accountabilities
- Own and execute the sales strategy for the Italian market, aligning closely with the broader business development objectives.
-Identify growth opportunities and ensure consistent delivery against revenue and client acquisition targets.
-Lead and manage the local sales team, setting clear performance targets and KPIs.
- Empower the team to build strong pipelines, close deals, and grow key accounts.
- Drive commercial activity across all client segments: proactively identify high-potential prospects, lead meetings and sales pitches, promote software solutions, portal access, and advisory services.
- Ensure regular reporting of activities in the CRM and alignment with group sales leadership.
-Build strong relationships with key stakeholders in the Italian financial ecosystem—including prospects, partners, and industry influencers—to increase visibility and relevance of our offerings.
- Represent the company at local industry events, conferences, and presentations to boost awareness and position our brand as a leading solution provider in the market.
-Achieve the annual revenue target for Italy (budgeted year over year) and contribute to the company's overall growth trajectory.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
We are looking for enthusiastic and client centric person with the following skills:
* 5 to 7 years of experience required in capital markets or in the Italian investor relation industry, supporting a high knowledge of stock-markets and financing environment
* Fluent in English and Italian
* Demonstrable outstanding communication skills, verbally and in writing
* Previously held a position within an IR team or as an sales manager at a broker, a financial communication advisor or at a corporate
* Excellent customer relationship skills, with strong organization capabilities
* Able both to work with strong autonomy and to teamwork with very diverse stakeholders
* Proactive mind set and out-of-the-box thinking
* University degree or equivalent – MBA preferred
