SMS group is looking for a Solution After Sales Manager for our Center of Excellence " Automation, Digital & Service Solutions".The Solutions After Sales Manager will be responsible for managing the technical and commercial processes with main focus on spare parts and modernization solutions rolling mills. This role includes preparing quotations, executing orders, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure operational alignment and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically proficient, and experienced in handling industrial spare parts in a complex, international environment.Key Responsibilities:Develop technical and commercial proposals for spare parts and upgrading/modernization solutions for long product rolling mills / flat product rolling (hot/cold).Identify required components, equipment, and systems using customer technical documentation and internal engineering support.Prepare spare parts packages for initial supply in collaboration with product-specific technical departments.Evaluate costs in cooperation with purchasing, costing, and supplier management teams.Draft technical specifications and detailed commercial quotations.Oversee and coordinate order execution, ensuring on-time delivery and accuracy.Collect and analyze project information, aligning after-sales activities with contractual milestones.Maintain accurate records of quotations and orders within ERP systems.Provide excellent customer service, handling technical inquiries and support needs.RequirementsDegree in Engineering or Technical Diploma (preferred specializations: Mechanical, Thermal, Electrical, Electronics, or Telecommunications).Previous experience in technical-commercial back office roles within mechanical engineering companies or steel production plant environments.Mandatory: Fluent English language skills (written and spoken)Preferred: Proficiency in an additional language.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Out...
