Sales Area Manager Portable Air products for the Center and South Italy.
As a further development on the growth of the Power Technique Business area and especially the Portable Air division in Italy, we are selecting the Sales Area Manager for the Center and South Italy. The ideal candidate will be a professional with knowledge inportable air compressors, the constructions market, and B2B and has a proven experience selling capital goods.
He/she will report to the Business Line Manager Portable Air Division in Italy.
Role & responsibilities
1. Successfully pursue the achievement of sales targets assigned to the area and to individual dealers/retailers/end-users in accordance with Business Line strategies.
2. Developing a distribution network based on specialist dealers, resellers and rental companies.
3. Improve market share through relationships and sales to direct customers/end users.

5. Create Leads and Opportunities
6. Conduct an in-depth market analysis and segmentation, to identify all potential segments and channels to promote all range products.
7. Ensure your professional updating on both products and sales strategies through participation in specific training sessions, reading of manuals and/or technical magazines to maintaining Atlas Copco Portable air products as a reference brand for high added value applications.
8. Develop partnerships and manage the agents in the area to guarantee a constant and repetitive order flow.
9. Present sales materials and promotional programs.
10. Train partners staff on new products, services, and sales tools.
11. Liaise and collaborate with local service colleagues for aftermarket activities.
12. Cooperate with marketing team to develop effective brand communication and awareness, to generate new leads and opportunities.
13. Provide updated feedback to the management on market requirements, new products, competitors’ products, network, and product technical issues.
Competence development
14. Continuous competence development by updating job knowledge, by participating in educational opportunities, and by participating in focused trainings.
Reporting
15. Register customer base, sales activities, quotations, opportunities and leads daily
16. Active use of the CRM system to report and seize cross-brand opportunities.
17. CRM (C4C) is used for periodical reports related to activity, lost orders, closings, follow-up, and performance against sales goals.

Experience requirements
Proven experience in value sales with high technical content.
Knowledge
Italian mother-tongue
Good knowledge of English
Will be considered an added value Skilled in IT tools like MS Office, Outlook, and SAP Knowledge.
Educational requirements
High School Diploma, Bachelor / Degree in Industrial Engineering Disciplines; electrical, electrotechnical, and mechanical engineering are preferred.
