FAAM is building a Gigafactory in Teverola for the production of cells, modules, and battery packs for Electric Vehicles, Energy Storage, Industrial, and Special applications. This is a strategic project for the European lithium battery value chain. Position : Area Sales Manager Jr. with experience in the battery or Renewable Energy (RE) industry and a strong attitude toward change management. You will join the Sales Team. We are looking for a dynamic, passionate, purpose-driven sales professional who wants to help deploy one of the most important projects in Europe. Key Responsibilities Reporting to Sales Director Develop an in-depth understanding of the customer's business by using a variety of sources Gain a deep understanding of key local customers' needs and requirements Act as the link between external customers and internal key stakeholders (technical office) Support the company in participating in local tenders on energy storage projects Identify and explore commercial opportunities within the area of competence Develop and maintain long-term strategic relationships with key local customers Resolve issues and handle complaints to maintain trust between the customer and the organization Engage with internal colleagues such as other Key Account Managers and with the Product Manager to deliver valuable services Support the Commercial Director by assisting with the development of existing and new products, helping to create innovative solutions for customers Prepare bespoke strategic plans, encompassing sales, marketing and pricing activities to maximize opportunities and value in your region or country Implement and manage strategic activities with the Commercial Director to deliver increased value (measured by contribution) Monitor performance of strategic plans and evaluate successes, risks and opportunities; trigger remedial actions and report to the Commercial Director Identify gatekeepers (key influencers and decision-makers) within customer organizations and develop a plan to deepen relationships with support from senior stakeholders Contribute to formulation and implementation of sales strategies to maximize short- and long-term revenue opportunities and reduce the cost of sale Manage and continuously update the sales activity within the CRM Prepare regular reports on progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics Be ready for frequent business trips and periodic visits to the production plant in Teverola (Caserta, Italy) Requirements Technical background (Engineering or Business, if possible) Knowledge of the area of competence in terms of regulations, market and tender processes BSc/BA in electronic, electric (or mechanical) engineering or Business English spoken German, Dutch, French, Italian spoken if possible but not mandatory Proven experience as Area Sales (minimum 1 year) Experience managing major national key accounts and relationships at head office level Experience presenting proposals to customers at senior management level Experience working towards clearly defined sales targets Experience developing and identifying the most valuable customers to an organization Work conditions Stimulating work environment Full-time job Salary to be defined with Management (negotiable) Seniority level Entry level Employment type Full-time Job function Sales and Business Development Industries Appliances, Electrical, and Electronics Manufacturing J-18808-Ljbffr
