WSS Expansion Sales Specialist

The Role:

This role involves identifying the needs of current and potential customers for legacy Evoqua ISS products (now known as WSS Expansion) and offering tailored solutions. Responsibilities include achieving sales targets via new customer acquisition, promoting products to existing clients, developing market opportunities with a focus on up- and cross-selling, and collaborating closely with customers, partners, and internal teams, including European stakeholders, to ensure high customer satisfaction.

Principal Responsibilities:

* Acquire, develop, and manage existing customers and new prospects.
* Identify market potential, qualify accounts, and prioritize based on change, potential, and segmentation within strategic sales plans.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
* Initiate sales processes by scheduling appointments with clients and prospects.
* Identify customer needs and advise on WSS Expansion products and solutions that meet or exceed expectations.
* Prepare and follow up on quotations and tenders.
* Serve as the local point of contact for commercial issues during project implementation.
* Align product and solution offerings with customer needs, delivering compelling value propositions that differentiate from competitors, and applying appropriate sales approaches for each account and business context.
* Manage and comply with the existing customer funneling strategy for both direct customers and indirect channels (e.g., service partners and distributors).
* Support strategic market information collection by tracking competitors' products and customer feedback, and acting accordingly.
* Meet or exceed sales targets by achieving personal and regional sales objectives.
* Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the CRM system, including opportunities, contracts, emails, customer relations, tenders, and quotations.
* Collaborate with third-party contractors when needed to explore mutually beneficial solutions, fostering mutual trust.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical or commercial field, or equivalent professional experience.
* At least 5 years of experience in a similar role with comparable products or within the technical sector; experience in the industrial sector is a plus.
* Affinity with technical products and solutions, especially in wastewater or clean water treatment, is a plus.
* Excellent command of Italian and English, both spoken and written.
