Business Development Manager - Air and Sea Freight Role:
The resource will be responsible for developing new commercial opportunities in the
international sea and air freight sector
, contributing to the growth of the client portfolio and the consolidation of the company’s presence in the national and international market.
Main Responsibilities:
Develop and manage new B2B commercial relationships with import/export clients.
Promote sea and air freight services, in synergy with the operational and pricing teams.
Analyze clients’ logistical needs and propose customized solutions.
Monitor the market, competition, and trends in international traffic flows.
Manage the full sales cycle: prospecting, qualification, negotiation, and contract closing.
Ensure the achievement of agreed revenue and margin targets.
Collaborate with branches and overseas partners to develop new routes and business opportunities.
Requirements:
Minimum 3–5 years of sales experience
in freight forwarding or international shipping companies.
In-depth knowledge
of major sea and air routes and international transport dynamics.
Ability to read and negotiate rates
with airlines, shipowners, and overseas agents.
Strong aptitude for
business development
and building long-term relationships.
Excellent
communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
.
Fluent English (mandatory)
; additional language is a plus.
Proficiency in
IT tools and commercial CRM systems
.
Education
High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree

Sales Manager

Italy
and
Europe
.
The company is both
manufacturer and licensee
of its product range, distributed across
four main channels
:
Distributors, Wholesalers, Retailers,
and
E-commerce (
including
Amazon).
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead a team of internal sales professionals focused on Italy and EU markets, as well as a network of field agents.
Key Responsibilities
Drive and coordinate internal and external sales teams to achieve revenue targets.
Analyze sales data and KPIs to optimize performance and identify new business opportunities.
Develop commercial strategies for Distributors, Vending, Wholesalers, Retailers, E-commerce, and Traditional Trade.
Support market expansion with different strategiest and new channels.
Collaborate with the CEO to define growth plans and internationalization strategies.
Requirements
Proven experience in Sales Management within B2B environments.
Fluent in Italiano and in English.
Strong analytical skills and data-driven mindset.
Leadership and ability to motivate internal and external teams.
Availability to work
on-site in Pomezia
(no remote work).
Limited travel required.
