In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Portfolio & Lifecycle Management (Global ownership)
1. Own portfolio lifecycle management from concept through enhancements, configuration strategy and obsolescence planning
2. Lead recurring portfolio reviews and maintain a multi-year product roadmap
3. Support/drive scope transfer and portfolio expansion
4. Own strategic and technical marketing for GGC and Sempell Isolation
5. Maintain an active understanding of competitor offerings, market movements, and customer preferences; adjust strategy accordingly.

Installed Base & Spares Strategy (Value harvesting and growth)

6. Develop and implement a global spares strategy
7. Map the installed base by World Area (WA) and segment it by age, configuration, criticality, and opportunity potential.
8. Define and deploy “harvest” programs
9. Improve spares commercial effectiveness through better responsiveness, lead-time competitiveness, and targeted campaigns with sales and service teams.
10. Establish KPI tracking for spares and drive corrective actions.

North America Penetration Strategy (Market entry/expansion plan)

11. Develop a comprehensive North America penetration strategy
12. Assess price–cost position and competitiveness versus key competitors, including configuration gaps and differentiation needs.
13. Define required market configurations and prioritize actions to close gaps
14. Propose the manufacturing strategy and operating model to win
15. Recommend the commercial and technical enablement plan for the region

Grow Profitable Opportunities in Europe, Middle East & Africa

16. Drive profitable growth in Europe and MEA by defining where-to-play priorities and converting them into actionable segment/account plans.
17. Identify and implement the right manufacturing, sourcing, and buyout strategies.
18. Partner with regional sales leadership to improve win rate

Asia Support (Nilai manufacturing competitiveness and scope)

19. Support Asia GGC / Sempell Isolation business manufactured at Nilai by identifying: Scope expansion opportunities, Configuration changes needed for broader market coverage, Supplier/material changes to reduce cost and lead time.
20. Lead cross-functional initiatives to improve cost competitiveness & lead-time performance

Industry & Application Expansion (Beyond traditional power markets)

21. Drive application expansion from Coal / Combined Cycle into process industries.
22. Define segment value propositions, required product adaptations/configurations, and go-to-market strategies for each targeted industry.
23. Identify and validate new use cases and translate them into roadmap priorities and business cases.

Drive Bookings, Pricing Strategy & Profitability

24. Drive bookings by enabling and supporting the sales organization with technical guidance.
25. Own key portfolio performance management (bookings, margins, price/mix, volume, quote conversion)
26. Develop and execute pricing strategies to improve profitability while maintaining competitiveness.

New Configurations, Product Launch & Literature Management

27. Lead or coordinate development of new configurations and product modifications to improve competitiveness and expand addressable markets
28. Own product launch readiness: Launch plan and internal communications, Sales tools, Competitive positioning and training packs
29. Ensure product literature and documentation remain current and aligned

Product Awareness, Technical Expertise & Training

30. Drive global product awareness and act as a product spokesperson when needed
31. Provide product training to sales, service, and other internal teams
32. Support customer visits and key opportunities as required, bringing product expertise

Quoting Process & Tool Optimization

36. Quoting Tools Simplification: Lead an initiative to assess and simplify current quoting tools and workflows to reduce complexity, shorten quote cycle time, and enable broader adoption so any trained sales user can generate accurate quotes quickly.

Digital Enablement & AI Acceleration (Quotes-to-Execution)

37. Maximize the use of AI-enabled tools to streamline workflows and accelerate speed across the full value chain—from opportunity identification and quoting through engineering support, order execution, and after-sales/spares.
38. Identify high-impact use cases for automation and AI
39. Partner with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Digital/IT teams to deploy, standardize, and scale AI solutions, ensuring integration with existing systems and processes.
40. Track and report measurable outcomes (, quote cycle time reduction, engineering responsiveness, execution efficiency, improved win rate, margin protection), and drive continuous improvement based on results.

For This Role, You Will Need:
48. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
49. + years of relevant experience, ideally across product management, engineering, sales and/or marketing in an industrial BB environment.
50. Strong technical understanding of valves / flow control and customer applications; ability to translate needs into product requirements and improvements.
51. Knowledge of ASME, ANSI, DIN, EN and specific piping industry codes and standards.
52. Proven ability to work globally and cross-functionally, with strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
53. Solid commercial skills and business acumen: exposure to market/competitive analysis, pricing, profitability, and key performance metrics (, bookings, trends, quote conversion).
54. Fluent English (spoken and written); strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
55. MBA diploma is preferred
