The Sales & Marketing division of Randstad Professional, specialized in the recruitment of Middle and Senior Management profiles, is looking for a candidate on behalf of a leading company in the food sector for the position of:
Export Area Manager – Europe
Key Responsibilities: Develop and seek out new clients in the Foodservice, Normal Trade, and Modern Trade (GDO) channels; Identify and develop new business opportunities and manage existing clients within the sector; Monitor market trends and provide analysis to support strategic decision-making; Handle negotiations with key clients in the Food Service, Normal Trade, and Modern Trade sectors, including commercial agreements, pricing, and promotional activities; Analyze client needs and requests and ensure the sale of the company’s various product categories; Ensure the achievement of revenue and profit margin targets; Prepare periodic reports on activities and results achieved; Collaborate with production, marketing, and R&D; teams to ensure operational excellence, and with the export and customer service teams for post-sales support.
Candidate Profile: At least 5 years of experience in a similar role is required; Previous experience in the food sector, specifically in cured meats and cold cuts, is mandatory; Strong knowledge of sales dynamics in the importer and specialized distributor sector, particularly in the HoReCa or GDO channels, is essential; Excellent command of the English language is required; Solid understanding of international markets and commercial operations; Strong business development skills; Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 50% of the time); Opportunity for professional growth in a dynamic and rapidly expanding environment.
