Responsibilities:
* Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define and communicate the product vision and maintain a strategic roadmap for the IFC connector portfolio, aligned with company objectives and market opportunities.
* Market & Customer Insights: Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and engage directly with customers to develop informed perspectives on technology trends, user needs, and opportunities for differentiation.
* Requirements Definition: Translate product strategy into detailed business cases, product requirements documents (PRD), and user stories for the engineering and design teams.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and collaborate with R&D, engineering, marketing, and sales teams in an agile environment to ensure successful product development, quality assurance, and timely launch.
* Go-to-Market & Lifecycle Management: Drive the product launch process, develop sales enablement materials, and manage the product throughout its lifecycle—from conception to launch and eventual sunset.
* Product Performance: Continuously monitor product performance, user feedback, and key business metrics to identify areas for improvement and inform future strategy.
Qualifications:
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
* Experience: 5+ years of dynamic product management experience, preferably in AEC software, data interoperability solutions, SaaS, or a related high-tech field.
* Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the AEC industry, BIM workflows, and data standards, with specific expertise in IFC schema and its practical applications. Experience with other AEC data formats is highly desirable.
* Technical Acumen: Strong ability to understand technical concepts and communicate effectively with engineering teams.
* Strategic Skills: Proven success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle, with strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
* Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Fluency in English is required.
