With broad experience in the process industry and automation projects related to Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Lifecycle Services, and Software Solutions, you will accelerate business growth with existing and new prospects. You will be responsible for all sales activities with customers in major industries to achieve sales bookings and strategic targets, with a focus on Emerson's signature DCS - DeltaV system. In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be: Establish, expand, and acquire new customers as the first point of contact for comprehensive customer support. Actively visit and support existing customers. Prepare customer inquiries for processing by the back office. Manage and further develop Emerson's market position by understanding customers' business drivers and goals, and keeping up to date with their situations. Prepare and be responsible for an annual booking budget by product, value, and period. Work in team projects for integrated requests. Participate in relevant industry events. For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field, or equivalent experience. Proven sales and business development experience in a B2B technical environment. Background in industrial automation or process industries. Affinity for technology and innovations, with technical understanding, ideally of DCS systems. Experience with CRM and MS Office tools. Proficiency in English and Italian. Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory. Valid driving license. Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart: Ability to work within a complex matrix organization and collaborate across business units. In-depth knowledge of at least one major industry such as chemical, pharma, petrochemical, oil & gas, or similar (excluding power generation).
