We are looking for an Export Manager to join our team and lead our expansion in international markets.
Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven Export Manager to lead and execute our international sales strategy. The Export Manager will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities in foreign markets, managing relationships with customers. This role requires a proactive, entrepreneurial individual with a deep understanding of the international food market.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a comprehensive export strategy to expand Probios\' presence in international markets with a focus on DACH area.
* Identify new business opportunities for both branded and private label business.
* Establish partnerships with distributors, retailers, and key stakeholders in foreign markets.
* Manage and grow existing international accounts, ensuring optimal performance and alignment with company objectives.
* Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and product development, to ensure seamless market entry and growth.
* Regularly report on sales performance, forecasts, and key market insights.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
* At least 5 years of experience in export management or international sales in the food industry preferably with a focus on DACH.
* Proven track record of successfully expanding business in international markets.
* Strong understanding of the organic food sector and international trade regulations.
* Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
* Fluency in English is required; fluency in German is preferential.
* Willingness to travel extensively.
