Job Responsabilities: Sales engineers combine technical knowledge with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of products. Technical sales engineers are a key point of contact for clients and provide both pre- and after-sales advice. They liaise regularly with other members of the sales team and colleagues from a range of departments, such as research, development, design, purchasing, production and quality.Essential functions:Help existing accounts, obtain orders and establish new accounts who might benefit from company products by identifying potential customers; plan and organize sales call scheduleDevelop long-term relationships with clients through manage and interpret their requirementsPrepare offers by studying blueprints, plans, and related customer documents; consult with engineers, architects and other professional and technical personnelNegotiate tender and contract terms and conditions Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education and after-sales support servicesAnalyze costs and salesMeet regular sales targets and coordinate sales projectsSupport market activities by attending trade shows, conferences and other market eventsMake technical presentations and demonstrate how a product meets client needsProvide train and product support material for other members of the sales teamSubmit orders by referring to price lists and product literature and by conferring with technical support staffKeep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysesMonitor competitors by gathering current marketplace information on price, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandise techniques, etc.Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developmentsResolve customer complaints by investigating problems; develop solutions; prepare reports; make recommendations to managementMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societiesContribute by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed; provide information and commentary pertinent to deliberations; recommend options and courses of action; implement directivesIdentify current and future customer requirements by establishing personal relationship with potential and actual customers and other persons in a position to understand requirementsProvide product, service, or equipment technical information by answering questions and requestsPrepare sales reports and forecast by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information and engineer and application trendsBe aware and stay update on Trade Compliance matters (embargos, end users and end destinations, etc.)Required qualifications and experience:Electronics degree or equivalentFluent English knowledge, both written and spoken; knowledge of another language related to the assigned areaDeep technical knowledge of company’s and competitors’ productsWillingness to travelTeam building capabilityAbility to interact with other departmentsStrong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skillsFull time
