Responsibilities
- Maintain excellent business relationships with assigned accounts to increase customer satisfaction and secure new business - Provide functional guidance and support to Global Key Account Managers in line with customer agreements and Marquardt policies - Lead advanced acquisition activities (RFIs/RFQs), including timelines, design-to-cost targets, and defined deliverables - Actively scan the market to identify new business opportunities and provide relevant feedback to management - Contribute to the financial performance of running projects through continuous improvement activities (e.g. VA/VE, changes) - Support the execution and achievement of the 5-year sales growth plan - Drive all commercial negotiations with assigned customers - Contribute to product development strategies aligned with customer and market needs - Provide regular feedback on market conditions, competitor activities, and progress toward business objectives - Contribute to Key Account strategies and operational improvements
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, or a related field - 3–5 years of experience in a customer-facing sales or business development role, ideally in electronics or mechatronics - Proven account development and new business acquisition experience (hunter mindset) - Solid knowledge of sales and business development methodologies - Good understanding of Marquardt markets (Industry & Distribution, Home Appliance, HVAC, Powertools) - High level of autonomy and strong problem-solving and negotiation skills - Excellent verbal and written communication skills; fluent in English and Italian - Strong team spirit and ability to work effectively in an international environment - Advanced presentation and networking skills - Technical background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is a plus
