Job Description
This role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue growth. It involves developing sales strategies, negotiating deals, and working closely with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction. The position requires a proactive approach to market research, lead generation, and achieving sales targets.
Main Responsibilities
* Prospect assigned territory, clients, and leads.
* Assist in regionalizing sales efforts by increasing local client visits.
* Build new strategic relationships by developing sales plans and business strategies.
* Identify and develop new targets to expand regional and global business volume in Ocean, Air, and Overland Freight, as well as Value Add solutions.
* Follow-up and maintain current customers with the goal of increasing revenue and freight volume.
* Increase market penetration for the PSA BDP brand.
* Engage with Account Management, Product Leaders, and Vertical Heads to develop target accounts within the assigned region.
* Meet and exceed KPIs regarding client visits and customer retention.
* Conduct market research with sales support teams to increase individual sales pipeline.
* Perform other duties as required.
Job Requirements
* Minimum High School diploma.
* Preferred: Minimum 2 years of experience in global sales.
* Preferred: Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
* Knowledge of Ocean Freight, Air Freight, or Overland Freight in a Freight Forwarding/Logistics company.
* Fluent in English.
* Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
* Willing to travel up to 25%.
