Hotel Monte Cenci is looking for a Front Office Agent (Receptionist) to join our front desk team.
You will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a key role in delivering a warm, personalized experience in line with the high standards of our boutique luxury hospitality.
Main Responsibilities
As a Front Office Agent, your main duties will include:
* Managing check-in and check-out procedures with accuracy and courtesy
* Welcoming guests and assisting them throughout their stay
* Handling reservations (direct and through OTAs)
* Providing local recommendations and concierge-style support (transfers, reservations, etc.)
* Operating the Protel property management system and managing daily transactions
* Promoting hotel services through upselling and guest engagement
* Coordinating with housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B departments
* Resolving guest issues with discretion and professionalism
Requirements
* Previous experience in similar roles within luxury hotels or upscale hospitality settings
* Excellent command of English (knowledge of a second language is a plus)
* Familiarity with Protel PMS
* Strong computer literacy (email, Office suite, internet tools)
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
* Professional appearance, discretion, and attention to detail
* Availability to work on shifts, including weekends and holidays
