You’ll have the opportunity to write technical white papers, create technical roadmaps and drive production level projects that will support Amazon Science. You will have the opportunity to design new algorithms, models, or other technical solutions whilst experiencing Amazon’s customer focused culture. The ideal scientist must have the ability to work with diverse groups of people and cross‑functional teams to solve complex business problems. /p h3Basic Qualifications /h3 ul liPhD in engineering, technology, computer science, machine learning, robotics, operations research, statistics, mathematics or equivalent quantitative field /li liExperience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language /li liExperience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning /li liExperience in building machine learning models for business application /li liExperience with modeling tools such as R, scikit‑learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy etc. /li /ul h3Preferred Qualifications /h3 ul liPublications at top‑tier peer‑reviewed conferences or journals /li liExperience in GenAI production systems development /li liExperience leading/coaching junior scientists /li /ul pAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
