We have partnered with an ingredient distributor to recruit for a Business Development Manager - Flavours. This commercial role is responsible for growing customer relationships and expanding Italian market presence for their flavour solutions across various food and beverage categories.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor’s degree in Business, Food Science, or a related discipline.
* 4+ years of sales or account management experience within the ingredient industry.
* Proven ability to manage key accounts while driving incremental growth.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and customer-facing skills.
Responsibilities:
* Manage and grow a portfolio of food and beverage customers across Italy.
* Develop new business opportunities with emerging and established manufacturers.
* Partner with applications and R&D teams to support customer briefs, trials, and commercialisation.
* Lead pricing discussions, account planning, and commercial negotiations.
* Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline reporting, and market intelligence.
* Represent the business at customer meetings, trade shows, and regional industry events.
