The Technical Sales Specialist plays a key role at the intersection of sales, marketing and engineering. The position combines strong technical expertise with commercial acumen, supporting customers throughout the sales process and contributing to the development of tailored solutions that meet market and client needs. The role actively supports business growth in both domestic and international markets.
Key responsibilities
The Technical Sales Specialist will support the growth and development of the organization through the following activities:
Develop and execute technical sales plans and forecasts in line with company objectives;
Provide technical and commercial support to customers and internal sales teams throughout the sales cycle;
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Engineering to deliver tailored solutions aligned with customer needs and market trends;
Support product positioning, pricing, and value propositions to strengthen competitiveness and market presence;
Monitor sales performance, profitability, and competitive landscape, proposing improvement actions where needed;
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key industry stakeholders to achieve assigned sales and KPI targets.
Requirements
Education
Technical diploma or Bachelor's / Master's degree in scientific or engineering disciplines
Professional experience
Previous experience is preferred within structured industrial groups, ideally in the metal-mechanical sector and in international environments
Technical skills
Strong understanding of technical products and industrial solutions
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-oriented mindset and problem-solving attitude
Ability to work cross-functionally and in multicultural environments
Results-driven approach and strong organizational skills
Willingness to travel and adapt to dynamic business contexts
