Operating in over 175 countries, we deliver advanced solutions that help customers manage power safely, efficiently, and reliably.\n\nWithin Eaton\u2019s Electrical portfolio, the Vacuum Interrupter product line is a key medium\u2011voltage technology supporting circuit breakers, contactors, and switchgear solutions.\n\nTo support the growth of this business, we are seeking a Key Account Manager to drive end\u2011to\u2011end business development for Vacuum Interrupter and related products. The role focuses on commercial strategy, go\u2011to\u2011market execution, and channel development, working closely with internal sales teams, distributors, agents, and switchgear partners.\n\nThe position covers Italy and surrounding countries and is accountable for achieving sales, margin, market share, and profit plan targets in alignment with regional and global stakeholders.\n\n## What you\u2019ll do:\n\n * Own revenue, margin, and profitability targets for the Vacuum Interrupter product line, driving sales growth across trade and intercompany business in line with profit plans and new\u2011product business cases.\n * Define and execute mid\u2011 to long\u2011term commercial strategies to optimize sales performance, margins, and market share across the assigned countries.\n * Collaborate cross\u2011functionally with Operations (Suzhou plant), Global Engineering, Regional and Local Sales, and Product Management to ensure the right product offering and fast customer response times, supporting the CPCD strategy.\n * Develop and activate indirect sales channels, including partner programs such as Powered by Eaton Technology, by identifying and enabling key switchgear partners in the region.\n * Act as the primary commercial and technical interface for customers, supporting key accounts with product positioning, channel strategy, and technical guidance.\n * Leverage market and customer insights by monitoring trends and competitor activity, and translating Voice\u2011of\u2011Customer feedback into input for regional strategy, product roadmaps, and R\u0026D priorities. \n\n\n\n## Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline; a Master\u2019s degree is preferred.Proven experience in sales, marketing, business development, or a similar commercial role within the electrical industry, preferably in a medium\u2011voltage environment.\n * Strong preference for experience with manufacturers of medium\u2011voltage vacuum circuit breakers (VCBs) or related MV equipment.\n * Solid technical knowledge of medium\u2011voltage systems, including short\u2011circuit protection principles, switchgear, circuit protection, and product applications.\n * Good understanding of markets, applications, and customers related to Vacuum Interrupter (VI) products.\n\n\n\n## Skills:\n\n * Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.\n * Demonstrated creative and analytical thinking, with the ability to translate ideas into actionable solutions.\n * Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic, results\u2011driven environment.\n * Strong global and regional market awareness, with the ability to understand industry dynamics and customer needs.\n * Excellent planning, organization, and strategic thinking capabilities.\n * Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint.\n * Strong business acumen, with experience using data and statistical analysis to assess market trends, competitor activity, and industry dynamics.\n * Effective communication and presentation skills, with confidence in public speaking and participation in internal and external meetings.\n\n\n\n## We Offer:\n\n * An initial one\u2011year fixed\u2011term contract, renewable, with competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package.\n * The opportunity to work on challenging projects within a dynamic and collaborative team, in an international environment.\n * Career development and internal mobility opportunities\u2014Eaton actively encourages internal promotion whenever possible.\n * A strong focus on professional growth, with continuous learning and development opportunities supported through Eaton University and other global training programs.\n * The chance to make a meaningful impact\u2014reliability, safety, efficiency, and sustainability are at the heart of our mission to improve quality of life and protect the environment through innovative power management technologies.\n * A strong commitment to employee wellbeing, with health and safety as a top priority.
