We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Chef de Rang for Borgo Santo Pietro, an award-winning five-star luxury boutique hotel located in the heart of Tuscan countryside, surrounded by a 300-acre organic farm, vineyards and wonderful gardens. The Chef de Rang will work in our Restaurant Trattoria Sull’Albero, which offers classic Tuscan menu of our farm to plate cuisine. The individual will be responsible for delivering exceptional service and ensure a memorable dining experience for guests. Main Responsabilities: Welcome guests warmly, accompany them to the table and provide the menu, ensuring a memorable experience from the moment they arrive. Oversee a section of the dining room. Introduce the menu, describing each dish in detail and answering any questions guests may have. Coordinate with colleagues to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages, orchestrating service with precision and efficiency. Provide quality service in line with Borgo Santo Pietro’s standards. Take orders and provide recommendations when needed. Assist guests in the wine’s selection to complement their meals. Candidate Profile: Fluent level of English and Italian languages is required. Previous experience in a similar role in luxury hotels is an asset. Knowledge of food service is mandatory; knowledge of wines is strongly preferred. Excellent customer service attitude.
