Position Overview
independent investment bank and wealth manager is seeking a highly skilled Crypto Trader with advanced quantitative and systematic expertise to manage the company treasury allocated to digital assets. This is a strategic role requiring a proven ability to implement and execute primarily intraday trading strategies with the goal of achieving double-digit returns. The successful candidate will join a competitive, dynamic environment, supported by a world-class quantitative team of 12 experts.
Role & Responsibilities
* Strategic Execution: Develop, implement, and execute systematic intraday trading strategies tailored to the crypto market.
* Treasury Management: Oversee and optimize the performance of the company's treasury allocation in the digital assets class.
* Quantitative Research: Collaborate with the in-house quantitative team to design and refine algorithms, back testing models, and risk management protocols.
* Market Analysis: Monitor market conditions, identify arbitrage opportunities, and react to market changes with precision and speed.
* Performance Reporting: Deliver comprehensive performance analytics, reporting on profitability and risk-adjusted returns.Technology Integration: Collaborate with the controlled start-up to enhance tools, models, and go-to-market solutions for digital asset trading.
Key Skills
* Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in crypto trading or quantitative/systematic trading in financial markets.
* Quantitative Skills: Advanced knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithmic programming. Expertise in Python, R, or other programming languages is highly desirable.
* Proven Track Record: Demonstrated ability to achieve consistent double-digit returns in systematic trading strategies.
* Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the crypto market structure, liquidity conditions, and risk factors.
* Risk Management: Strong grasp of portfolio management and advanced risk-control techniques.
* Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with a quantitative team and adapt to a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
* Education: Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM, CAIA) are a plus.
