Designation: Trade Marketing Manager

About the Role
We are looking for a highly motivated and analytical Trade Marketing Manager to join our team and playing a key role in defining and executing trade marketing strategies across key markets (Italy, Romania, Hungary). This role will work in close collaboration with Sales team, Supply Chain and Leadership team to ensure profitable growth, effective investment allocation and the successful implementation of commercial strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Budget & Performance Management:
* Define budgets in collaboration with the Sales team, including volume targets, promotional plans, and trade investment allocations.
* Oversee continuous P&L management and monitoring within company guidelines.
* Conduct monthly Performance Analysis vs. Budget and Previous Year results.
* Provide regular performance updates and presentations to the Group Board.
Market & Performance Analysis:
* Continuously monitor market dynamics to identify opportunities, risks, and emerging trends.
* Analyze sell-out performance (e.g. Nielsen) and track sell-in vs. sell-out results.
* Evaluate ROI of activities and initiatives to ensure profitability.
* Partner with the Sales and Supply Chain teams for monthly performance reviews.
Commercial Strategy & Trade Marketing Execution:
* Define and implement Trade Marketing plans for both B2C and B2B channels (assortment, promotions, distribution).
* Develop and roll out in-store strategies (POP materials at both international and local level).
* Manage the company's presence at events and exhibitions, from strategy to organizational aspects.
* Build and execute Joint Business Plans with key customers focusing on distribution, trade tools, and retail media opportunities.
* Conduct regular market visits and store checks.
Collaboration and Leadership:
* Act as a strategic partner to the Leadership team ensuring alignment with profitability objectives.
* Maintain daily interaction with Sales team and main distributors for performance tracking, pricing and competition in monitoring.
Requirements
* At least 10 years of proven experience in Trade Marketing, Sales, or Commercial Strategy roles within FMCG industries (within both OOH and retail channel preferred)
* Strong financial acumen and solid experience with P&L management.
* Analytical mindset with hands-on experience in market data analysis (e.g. Nielsen, IRI, GfK).
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience in reporting to senior stakeholders.
* Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt strategies to fast-changing market dynamics.
* Fluency in English
* Willingness to travel across key markets (Italy, Romania, Hungary).
