Your Mission As our Brand Manager for Italy, Greece & Malta, you will be instrumental in driving the Brand's strategic growth and market presence across these vital regions. You will be responsible for developing and expanding our local clientele, accelerating business growth, and significantly boosting sales. Working closely with the European Managing Director, you will establish a robust wholesale distribution network, orchestrate comprehensive 360° activation plans, and embed a client‑centric approach throughout the local organization. Your leadership will ensure the flawless execution of the Maison's strategy, the cultivation of a high‑performing team, and a strong, collaborative link between Headquarters and local Richemont functions. How will you make an impact? In This Role, You Will Be Responsible For
Strategic Sales & Wholesale Development: Define and implement wholesale distribution strategies, expand the network, and drive new development opportunities to achieve ambitious sales targets. Marketing & Client Engagement: Oversee the execution of marketing and communication plans, manage budgets, ensure merchandising excellence, and organize impactful client and press events. Training & Operations Management: Develop wholesale partner training, manage supply chain, optimise partners’ stock levels, and coordinate after‑sales service. Financial Stewardship: Manage the local Brand P&L, contribute to budget preparation, and ensure accurate financial reporting. Regularly analyse P&L performance against budget, identify variances for corrective action, and integrate inventory and DSO management into financial planning to optimise working capital and overall financial outcomes. Negotiation of Contracts and Commercial Terms: Negotiate contractual terms, prices, discounts, and payment conditions with wholesale clients to maximise profitability and business volume. Team Leadership: Recruit, lead, and develop a high‑performing team, fostering an entrepreneurial and positive brand culture. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Actively participate in Richemont meetings, share best practices, and strengthen European synergy.
How will you experience success with us? Experience
You will bring a minimum of 10 years of progressive management and sales leadership experience in the Wholesale channels, preferably within the luxury watch and jewellery sector, with deep knowledge of the Italian distribution landscape and high‑end clientele. Proven experience in developing and maintaining an effective wholesale strategy, with in depth knowledge of the relevant wholesale market, including key players, competitive dynamics, and emerging trends.
Education: A bachelor’s or master’s degree is preferred. Technical Skills: You possess strong financial and analytical acumen, proficiency in SAP, exceptional negotiation skills, and are a native Italian speaker with fluent English.
