The primary responsibility of this role is to achieve and exceed sales targets for the defined area, focusing on both new and existing business. You will be expected to drive revenue growth by identifying new opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing clients, and ensuring that sales objectives are consistently met.
Responsibilities
1. Plan and carry out direct sales activities to attain new accounts in accordance with agreed sales and business plans
2. Develop new and prospective accounts while maintaining and growing with existing accounts
3. Develop pipeline with number of opportunities defined globally
4. Response and follow up on sales inquiries and leads using appropriate methods within time frame
5. Provide input on market needs to product development
6. Assist in preparation and negotiation of bids, RFQ’s and quotations with customers
7. Initiate and support professional customer implementation with all required parties
8. Documentation of sales activities as per global standards in CRM
Skills required
9. Deep understanding of international freight forwarding;
10. Proven track record to identify & secure new business opportunities
11. Highly engaging, innovative and liable in finding solutions for the customer
12. Strong communication and negotiation skills
13. Persistent, determined and has the resilience to achieve challenging goals
14. Fluent in Italian and English
