Position Summary
This position, in conjunction with the EU market team, is responsible for coordinating, managing, and leading sales activities in assigned industries. Main applications include corporate events, concerts, touring, festivals, public events, broadcasting-rental, virtual applications, etc., mainly for rental and staging LED product lines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop and implement the company's strategy for business development in assigned markets, focusing on opening new opportunities and generating leads to meet or exceed targets.
* Identify new accounts, develop, and maintain relationships to expand sales.
* Forecast sales activities and set performance goals in coordination with the EU team.
* Participate in establishing annual industry business plans and target customer development strategies.
* Represent the company at conferences, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
* Make daily business trips to approach rental/production companies, consulting/design firms, creative agencies, and professionals, to promote the Absen brand and coordinate with distributors.
* Stay informed about new products, services, and industry trends.
* Gather and transfer feedback from field activities to HQ, including product, marketing, sales, and service insights.
* Prepare monthly industry reports and quarterly situation analyses.
* Manage communication with customers and headquarters during project implementation.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
* Host customer visits to China HQ.
* Participate in marketing events such as seminars and trade shows.
* Coordinate with the HQ sales team for the EU market.
* Perform other duties as required.
Required Education/Experience
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Marketing, or Business Administration.
* At least 5 years in B2B sales & marketing or project management, preferably in the AV industry.
* At least 3 years’ experience in related projects with sales, marketing, or product management responsibilities.
Specialized Knowledge/Skills
* Effective leadership, project management, and communication skills.
* Strong client orientation and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to perform under high-pressure conditions.
Language:
Fluent in written and verbal German, English, Dutch, or Italian.
Note: You need to be based in Italy, as your business activities will be within the country.
