This role involves managing sales and relationships with selected distributors and key accounts, driving growth measured through sales volume, turnover, and cash flow. The role implements account strategies to meet short- and medium-term business goals.
Responsibilities include:
* Accountability for financial performance of assigned key accounts
* Building and understanding the contact map for key accounts; establishing positive relationships with senior management through events, meetings, and workshops
* Maintaining a robust pipeline to meet volume, new customer acquisition, and turnover objectives, utilizing CRM tools
* Collaborating with regional sales and other teams to deliver and adapt value propositions for sustainable growth
* Setting growth targets for each key account and developing strategic account plans
* Designing strategic initiatives for growth projects with clear targets
* Engaging with external and internal partners to address progress, barriers, and resource needs
* Staying informed on industry trends, customer insights, and technological developments; sharing findings through appropriate channels
* Working closely with global account managers to meet KPIs
Qualifications for success:
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or Business preferred
* Proven experience in Sales/Marketing, especially in industrial products
* Fluency in English and Italian
* Several years of experience managing large accounts at national or transnational levels
* Skills in account strategy, business planning, negotiation, customer relationship management, and product knowledge
