What to expect from this position
We are seeking a Business Development Manager based in Tunisia, with a strong network across Africa, to lead the expansion of DEDA’s solution portfolio. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 6 years’ experience in business development within the tech, finance, or cybersecurity sectors, and a track record of successful project acquisition or client growth in Africa.
Key responsibilities
Develop and execute business development strategies for DEDA’s offerings in Cybersecurity, Financial Services, and AI-driven Digital Transformation.
Build and maintain relationships with government entities, financial institutions, enterprises, and strategic partners across Africa.
Identify new market opportunities and lead the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting to closure.
Represent DEDA at industry events, conferences, and client meetings across the region.
Work closely with the technical and delivery teams to ensure alignment between client needs and solution offerings.
Support the creation of proposals, commercial offers, and presentations tailored to African markets.
Provide regular market intelligence and feedback to support strategic planning and innovation.
Qualifications and skills required
Minimum 6 years of experience in business development, sales, or partnership roles in relevant industries (cybersecurity, finance, AI/digital).
Proven success in expanding business and securing deals in African markets.
Strong network of C-level contacts, public sector stakeholders, and strategic players in Africa.
Soft skill that we consider important
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
Ability to work independently and travel within Africa when required.
