Job Description
As Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients all over the world. We aim to hire a Technical Sales Engineer. They will be joining a team reporting directly to the Sales Manager.
Technical Sales Engineer- Automotive
What will you be doing at Arrow?
* Building, maintaining, and developing strategic relationships with customers, suppliers and Arrow partners.
* Focusing on technical needs of complex, emerging, or underpenetrated prospects.
* Creating new opportunities and product selection within the accounts and creating demand activity using technical resources as needed.
* Utilizing distribution and supplier knowledge to grow market share and sales.
* Understanding of customers’ needs and how to translate them to Arrow requirements or opportunities.
* Attending supplier training events to keep up to date on product line.
* Working within an assigned customer base to grow and develop the business, expanding market share and maximizing Arrow’s share of customer spend.
What are we looking for?
* 5+ years of related experience in the Electronics industry. Automotive industry preferred
* Degree in electronics studies.
* Ability to sell, influence and negotiate.
* Ability to build relationships at all levels of customers and suppliers.
* Fluency in Italian and English language.
* Electronic component knowledge (Semi and IP&E products).
* Driver’s license.
