Our non-invasive technologies integrate data from GPR, magnetometry, and drone-based geophysics to deliver actionable insights for infrastructure planning, risk assessment, and subservice mapping. We work with leading players in construction, infrastructure, and utilities — including Tecne (Gruppo Autostrade), Amplia, RFI, and Italgas — supporting them in the design and execution of complex, large-scale projects across Italy. Our mission is to bring AI-powered subsoil analysis to every engineering process, replacing outdated methods with a fast, scalable, and objective digital workflow.
Your Role
As a Junior Sales Specialist, you will support our business development team in identifying new leads, managing pre-sales activities, and helping deliver commercial proposals that communicate the value of our cutting-edge solutions. You’ll gain firsthand experience in sales strategy, client relations, and proposal development in a highly technical and rapidly evolving industry.
What You’ll Do
* Support the preparation of commercial proposals for B2B clients
* Analyze CRM data to create detailed client reports and opportunity tracking
* Conduct preliminary market scouting and identify new lead sources
* Participate in the planning and execution of sales campaigns and outreach
* Help select trade shows, support event logistics, and attend exhibitions
* Draft and structure offer documentation and email communications
* Support relationship building with engineering firms, utilities, and infrastructure clients
* Travel to client meetings and industry events across Italy as needed
Must-Have Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree (or close to completion) in Civil Engineering (preferably with coursework in geotechnics or geology)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Italian and English
* Strong interest in sales, engineering, or technology-driven business development
* Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Basic knowledge of CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
* Proactive, curious, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
* Willingness to travel across Italy and represent Xplora at meetings and events
Nice to Have
* Familiarity with geophysical or infrastructural analysis tools
* Experience or internship in technical sales, business development, or proposal writing
* Interest in AI, geospatial data, or energy infrastructure
