Product Manager Robotics & Automation – Rif. H26307 Our client is an Italian multi-business group with a solid presence in several sectors and a portfolio of market-leading brands.

Location : Abruzzo Role The R&A; Product Manager, leads the assigned portfolio and solutions strategy, development, and lifecycle designed for customers. In this role, he/she will work closely with all company functions (e.g. Engineering, Sales, KAM, Strategic Marketing, Service, Global Sales Support, Manufacturing, Finance), and collaborates with the leadership team to deliver platforms and solutions.

He/she will be responsible for translating customer needs and business goals into clear product requirements (that should evolve into a quantified and qualified value proposition), prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring successful product launches and adoption. Partnering with Business Development & Strategic Marketing (and other functions) the Robotics & Automation Product Manager will focus also on the Robotics & Automation Manufacturers and OEM market analysis, to understand: Dimensions and trends in different geographies Technology level Competitive landscape and value chain Customer mapping and targeting (including segmentations) Key buying factors Cost effective designs and continuous efficiency improvements to maximize margins From the Market analysis, he/she will support the validation of the Business Plan assumption, will be in charge of reviewing and modify it according to the natural Market evolution, will develop plans and initiatives to strengthen the Market position.

The Product

Manager, working in synergy with his/her line Manager, Strategic Marketing, Sales, KAM and Service, will then take care of the definition of the Go To Market strategy (pricing, channels, target customer segments) to facilitate the promotion of the project and the final selling to the Customers.

\n

Main responsibilities: Partners with Business Development to ensure alignment with the Strategy, facilitating projects handover from the Development phase (BD accountability) to the Product industrialization (Product Mgmt accountability) Owns the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Robotics & Automation Portfolio and Platforms. Understands the key buying factors of the target customer segments, to build the selling proposition, both in terms of technical scope and of content to be used as selling material Translates business and customer needs into measurable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria Partners with Engineering to plan, prioritize, and deliver on time features Defines, along with his/her line Manager, Strategic Marketing, Sales, KAM, Service the Go to Market strategy, including pricing, and targets customers/geographies Consults Sales and Global Sales Support to produce and release fast and accurate offers Pairs with R&D;, Engineering, Sales and Marketing and drive the End To End Platforming and Innovation processes along with the entire stage gate path. Creates and maintains the Portfolio Business Plan, continuously validating the assumptions and contributes country and customer playbooks along with Marketing by capturing technologies and market trends/needs, by sizing opportunities, and mapping competition Reports and updates the Leadership Team and all relevant stakeholders on the owned Platforms progression Supports Business Development and Strategic Marketing creating an application database (“knowledge center”) which can be used by Sales and other functions(search by application, find marketing material, references, and solutions) Prepares and delivers trainings for all new employees (especially but not only in the Commercial function) With Strategic Marketing produces and maintains the documentation and promotional material related to his/her perimeter Participates (representing the company and the assigned Portfolio/Platforms) fairs, conferences, interviews, articles (all the events that impact the business) Is the “guru” of the assigned Portfolio and Platforms, and regularly (or on demand) updates all the key stakeholders involved into the projects.

In charge of reporting in all the required situations Requirements Education Level: university degree in Engineering (MBA a plus) 7 years of experience as Product Manager, preferably in the related domain or an adjacent one (previous experiences as Project Manager and/or Sales Manager are considered as a plus) Business acumen supported by remarkable analytical and drafting skills to produce structured market analysis, business plans and reports. Can switch from strategy to tactic Strong literacy with NPD processes, tools, KPIs Ability to define and prioritize product requirements based on data, business impact, and develop value propositions Can work in diverse and multicultural environments Hands-on, capable to collaborate with cross-functional teams with sense of accountability, urgency
