Role Objective: Implement Rare Business Unit plan within own territory, consistently with Business Unit objectives, guidelines and in compliance with local regulations. In this role, you will be responsible for driving the commercial execution for Rare Diseases Therapies with a focus on several specialists. Accountabilities: Deeply understand own therapeutic areas, including the strengths and weaknesses of competing products, and gain insights into the characteristics of the field and centers of expertise. Schedule own business activities consistently with BU objectives, preparing/scheduling interviews / meetings and recording the relevant information collected to improve sales effectiveness. Provide daily/monthly reports to the line manager regarding the performance of relevant area and the changes taking place, and negotiate periodically the action plan to drive BU results. Implement promotional activities for company's products, within budget constraints. Develop relationships and partnerships with Key Opinion Leaders at local and national levels to ensure adequate representation of the company and acquire relevant product efficacy data and market information. Develop, sustain, and grow highly effective working relationships with key medical institutions, medical and academic societies. Identify, develop, and foster professional long-lasting peer-to-peer relationships with key physicians, KOLs, and academic centers, ensuring ethical scientific exchange. Comply with the company Compliance Guidelines, Code of Conduct, and Promotional Practices, and adhere to Takeda’s policies. Serve as a liaison to the Rare Diseases team by providing marketplace insights to influence goals, patient strategies, and promotional strategies. Define, in partnership with the line manager, plans for accounts based on analysis, strategy, and tactics, adjusting as needed and setting SMART goals. Skills and Capabilities: Education: Scientific University Degree or employment as Medical Rep prior to 6 July 2006. Good written and spoken English (at least B2). Experience: Solid experience promoting pharmaceutical products with high clinical explanation demand. Experience in Rare Diseases or Plasma Derived Therapies is a plus; familiarity with local KOLs is preferred. Skills: Effective verbal and written communication skills. Presentation skills, with proficiency in PowerPoint. Ability to assimilate technical, clinical, and scientific information quickly and present data clearly. Knowledge of disease management guidelines and protocols. Project management skills. Adaptability and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of the Italian healthcare system. Self-motivated and autonomous work style. High ethical standards and confidence. Physical Demands: Ability to drive or fly for meetings, audits, and training. Travel Requirements: Willingness to travel; valid driver’s license required.
