The Pantheon Iconic Rome Hotel, Autograph Collection, one of the most vibrant and dynamic 5 in Rome, is looking for you!
The Reservation Agent will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments:
* Reservation operations during your assigned shift to a consistently high standard;
* Responding to all guest enquires in an engaging manner whilst using Hotel standards with the aim of converting every enquiry into a booking by delivering efficient and intuitive guest service.
* Ensure personal knowledge of hotel products, services, pricing and special promotional offers;
* Maximize sales revenues through up-selling and marketing program;
* Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management; complete safety training and certifications;
* Any and all other work as required to complete the primary purpose of the position. xjrgpwk
To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviors, skills and values that follow:
* Reservation experience in Hotel of same category preferably in Marriott Luxury Properties
* Strong commercial/business awareness and demonstration of sales capabilities
* Calm, organized work ethic with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
* A passion for delivering exceptional levels of Guest service
* Experience with answering multi-line phone lines
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
* Excellent command of Italian and English. Additional languages will be considered a plus
* A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role
* Proficiency in Opera PMS (5.4 -5.6), MARSHA, EMPOWER Operational Systems required
