Taylor Hopkinson is leading the recruitment process on behalf of one of our clients operating in the renewable energy sector. We are currently searching for a Sales Director to join their expanding European team.
Our client is looking for a strategic Sales Director to accelerate business development in the fields of utility-scale solar PV and battery energy storage (BESS).
Key Responsibilities:
* Spearhead the identification and conversion of new business opportunities across multiple European markets.
* Engage and nurture relationships with key industry players including IPPs, developers, and infrastructure investors.
* Lead the entire sales process—from prospecting and proposal development to contract negotiation and project handover.
* Collaborate closely with engineering teams to develop technical service offers tailored to client needs.
* Maintain market intelligence and adjust commercial strategy based on emerging trends and client requirements.
* Represent the company at industry events and forums to boost brand visibility and network expansion.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 year's experience in B2B sales within the renewable energy or engineering consultancy space.
* Well-established network in the European solar PV, BESS, or grid infrastructure markets.
* Strong understanding of the development and execution life-cycle of large-scale energy infrastructure projects.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with a persuasive, client-focused approach to business.
* Proficiency in English is required;
* Willingness to travel regularly within Europe.
