COMPANY PROFILE:
PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Auditor's role involves conducting internal audits to identify and assess risks within a complex organization, as well as performing Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) testing. This includes conducting inspections, analyses, and procedural reviews in areas of limited scope and complexity and preparing related working papers. Additionally, the Auditor will provide recommendations for improving business operations and ensure compliance with legal standards.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Identify internal control weaknesses or potential improvements in business processes/SOX controls by completing audits/SOX testing. Report on findings to the Lead Auditor and local operating management. Prepare working papers necessary to support the audit and SOX activities. Receive training during fieldwork and report to the Lead Auditor or a more senior Auditor. Develop knowledge of auditing methodologies, processes, and tools. Assist in the design and enhancement of audit programs and procedures. Participate in project teams focused on investigations or special matters.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Degree in economics. Previous experience in consulting is a plus. Proficiency in English. Good knowledge of company standards and procedures. Strong analytical skills. Results-oriented. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Team player. Familiarity with data analysis software and statistical techniques. Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple tasks.
DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS: Proficiency in a second language is preferred. Experience with international auditing standards. Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking. High level of integrity and ethical behavior.
OTHER INFORMATION: The role may require travel to various company locations for on-site audits.
