Ansaldo Nucleare provides tailored design and engineering, manufacturing, assembly, testing, commissioning, on-site installation and integrated logistics services for all market segments in which it operates: New Builds, Fusion, Plant Operation Assistance, Decommissioning and Waste Management.
Position
Responsible for overseeing target markets and countries, identifying opportunities and assessing their feasibility, while promoting the adoption of innovative technologies and key products. Also responsible for building strategic partnerships (industrial alliances and commercial agreements) to address the overall scope of work, taking into account customer preferences.
Main activities:
* Identify and qualify new market opportunities aligned with company strategy.
* Analyze markets and competitors to support strategic decision-making.
* Develop relationships with clients and strategic partners.
* Lead client engagements in early project phases, including presentations and technical‐commercial discussions.
* Build and manage a structured opportunity pipeline.
* Support strategy definition, including market entry plans, positioning, and value propositions.
* Identify and negotiate partnerships or alliances (e.g., MoUs, NDAs, cooperation agreements).
* Prepare business cases, reports, and recommendations for management.
* Support the sales and proposals team, including during the tendering process.
Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
* Minimum 5+ years of experience in business development, strategic sales, or commercial roles.
* Excellent English proficiency; additional languages are an advantage.
* Availability for domestic and international travel, including the ability to spend extended periods abroad (e.g., in Eastern Europe, the Middle East, or South America) based on project or client needs.
* Knowledge of the nuclear industry.
* Solid experience in structuring partnerships, MoUs, NDAs, and commercial agreements.
* Strong understanding of B2B sales cycles, tender-driven industries, and public procurement rules.
* Ability to analyze technical and commercial information and translate customer needs into viable business opportunities.
* High level of autonomy, accountability, and results orientation.
* Experience in tendering processes.
