Abafoods srl is searching for its Marketing Department a temporary Brand Manager ( maternity leave substitution) to support sustainable & profitable growth of 2 Brands playing in Hot Drinks and Spreadables categories, positioned in different channels, Grocery, Healty Food Stores, Out Of Home and E-Commerce.

Overview of the Role

The Brand Manager will be part of the Italian Marketing Team and will manage key brands in the plant-based drinks portfolio, including:

- Isola Bio, organic plant-based drinks market leader in Health Food Stores.
- Bjorg, organic challenger brand in Grocery.

The role will translate market trends, category data, competitive dynamics and consumer insights into clear brand plans, activation programs, innovation projects and business recommendations.

The Brand Manager will work closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, European Category Teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the assigned plant-based drinks portfolio across channels.
- Define and implement brand plans in line with local priorities and European brand strategy.
- Analyse market data, competitors, pricing, distribution and consumer insights.
- Identify growth opportunities across portfolio, innovation, activation and commercial execution.
- Drive local innovation and renovation projects with European Category Teams, R&D;, Operations and Sales.
- Develop and execute activation and communication plans, including in-store activities, shopper marketing, media, PR and digital initiatives.
- Manage brand budgets, agencies and external partners.
- Partner with Sales to support customer needs, trade stories, sell-in materials and commercial opportunities.
- Monitor product profitability and support P&L; analysis with Finance.
- Coordinate cross-functional projects with clear planning, follow-up and stakeholder management.

Main Contacts

Internal: Sales Team, European Category Team, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Operations, Marketing colleagues across Ecotone.
External: Communication agencies, media agencies, research partners, suppliers, customers and external networks.

Professional Experience and Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in Brand Management, Trade Marketing or Category Marketing, ideally within FMCG, food or beverage.
- Strong understanding of marketing, sales and category management principles.
- Proven experience in point-of-sale activation, shopper marketing and integrated communication plans.
- Good analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data, financials and consumer insights.
- Experience in portfolio management, innovation projects and cross-functional project management.
- Ability to manage budgets, agencies and multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Experience in an international or matrix organisation is a plus.

Education and Skills

- Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics or other related fields.
- Fluent Italian and English.
- Other languages would be an advantage.
- Strong command of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

ADDITIONAL NOTES:

- the job position could be home based + same days in the office or office based + flexibility (2 Days /week smartworking) - depending of the candidate's home location.
- Estimate duration of the contract: at least 12 months ( strictly connected to the absence of the employee substituted

Contratto di lavoro: Tempo completo, Tempo determinato
Durata contratto: 12 mesi

Retribuzione: €50.000,00 - €60.000,00 all'anno
