Assists more senior sales executives and managers with larger and complex prospects and / or accounts. /pulliCore Responsibilities /liliAchieves established sales and retention goals through personal direction of all executive and staff level activities of the sales process. /liliSupports smaller to mid-sized sales relationships (in the Broker Dealer / RIA / Bank Institutional channel) and plans executes for material segments under general guidance of more senior sales executives or sales managers. Achieves sales and retention goals within the spirit of Vanguard's Code of Ethics. /liliDevelops a strategic sales plan for a specific territory and / or target client segment to efficiently identify quality new business relationships and leverage Vanguard capabilities for maximum success. /liliDrives results by raising awareness of Vanguard's investment capabilities and services through targeted prospecting activities. Prospect activities may include cold calling, face-to-face meetings, targeted mailings, hosting seminars, and attendance at industry conferences. /liliDevelops, maintains, and broadens relationships with prospects and client organizations. Gathers thorough understanding of the philosophy and dynamics of the prospects and client organizations. /liliActs as a trusted adviser to prospects and clients and positions Vanguard products and services effectively. /liliDevelops knowledge of regulatory environment and ensures that Vanguard operates in compliance with applicable regulations. /liliCollaborates and provides insight and direction to internal partners. /liliParticipates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned. /liliQualifications /liliThree years related experience.
