Resina Partners is supporting a leading Italian engineering plastics compounder in the search for a Sales Manager.
The company
A compact, agile plant specialising in engineering plastics and custom compounds for injection moulding applications.
The role:
The role is part of a structured succession plan of 12-18 months, with the objective of gradually taking over responsibilities from a senior commercial colleague.
The position includes a progressive onboarding and shadowing phase, alongside increasing autonomy in developing new business opportunities.
Key activities:
* Support the management of an existing portfolio of customers and distributors, alongside a senior commercial colleague
* Gradually develop new business opportunities in the Italian and international markets
* Work closely with technical and production teams
What we’re looking for:
* 5+ years experience in sales roles
* Previous experience in the plastics industry is a strong plus
* Fluent English, both written and spoken
* Availability to travel in Italy and abroad

Location:
Base: Northern Italy
Office presence: around 1 day/week (more frequent at the beginning)
