In this role, he/she will work closely with all company functions (e.g. Engineering, Sales, KAM, Strategic Marketing, Service, Global Sales Support, Manufacturing, Finance), and collaborates with the leadership team to deliver platforms and solutions. /pp He/she will be responsible for translating customer needs and business goals into clear product requirements (that should evolve into a quantified and qualified value proposition), prioritizing initiatives, and ensuring successful product launches and adoption. /pp Partnering with Business Development Strategic Marketing (and other functions) the Robotics Automation Product Manager will focus also on the Robotics Automation Manufacturers and OEM market analysis, to understand: /ppbr/pulliDimensions and trends in different geographies /liliTechnology level /liliCompetitive landscape and value chain /liliCustomer mapping and targeting (including segmentations) /liliKey buying factors /liliCost effective designs and continuous efficiency improvements to maximize margins /li /ulpbr/ppFrom the Market analysis, he/she will support the validation of the Business Plan assumption, will be in charge of reviewing and modify it according to the natural Market evolution, will develop plans and initiatives to strengthen the Market position. /ppbr/ppThe Product Manager, working in synergy with his/her line Manager, Strategic Marketing, Sales, KAM and Service, will then take care of the definition of the Go To Market strategy (pricing, channels, target customer segments) to facilitate the promotion of the project and the final selling to the Customers. /ppbr/ppMain responsibilities: /ppbr/pulliPartners with Business Development to ensure alignment with the Strategy, facilitating projects handover from the Development phase (BD accountability) to the Product industrialization (Product Mgmt accountability) /liliOwns the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Robotics Automation Portfolio and Platforms. /liliUnderstands the key buying factors of the target customer segments, to build the selling proposition, both in terms of technical scope and of content to be used as selling material /liliTranslates business and customer needs into measurable product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria /liliPartners with Engineering to plan, prioritize, and deliver on time features /liliDefines, along with his/her line Manager, Strategic Marketing, Sales, KAM, Service the Go to Market strategy, including pricing, and targets customers/geographies /liliConsults Sales and Global Sales Support to produce and release fast and accurate offers /liliPairs with RD, Engineering, Sales and Marketing and drive the End To End Platforming and Innovation processes along with the entire stage gate path. /liliCreates and maintains the Portfolio Business Plan, continuously validating the assumptions and contributes country and customer playbooks along with Marketing by capturing technologies and market trends/needs, by sizing opportunities, and mapping competition /liliReports and updates the Leadership Team and all relevant stakeholders on the owned Platforms progression /liliSupports Business Development and Strategic Marketing creating an application database (“knowledge center”) which can be used by Sales and other functions(search by application, find marketing material, references, and solutions) /liliPrepares and delivers trainings for all new employees (especially but not only in the Commercial function) /liliWith Strategic Marketing produces and maintains the documentation and promotional material related to his/her perimeter /liliParticipates (representing the company and the assigned Portfolio/Platforms) fairs, conferences, interviews, articles (all the events that impact the business) /liliIs the “guru” of the assigned Portfolio and Platforms, and regularly (or on demand) updates all the key stakeholders involved into the projects. In charge of reporting in all the required situations /li /ulpbr/ppstrongRequirements /strong /ppbr/pulliEducation Level: university degree in Engineering (MBA a plus) /lili7+ years of experience as Product Manager, preferably in the related domain or an adjacent one (previous experiences as Project Manager and/or Sales Manager are considered as a plus) /liliBusiness acumen supported by remarkable analytical and drafting skills to produce structured market analysis, business plans and reports. xdwybme Can switch from strategy to tactic /liliStrong literacy with NPD processes, tools, KPIs /liliAbility to define and prioritize product requirements based on data, business impact, and develop value propositions /liliCan work in diverse and multicultural environments /liliHands-on, capable to collaborate with cross-functional teams with sense of accountability, urgency and performance /liliA change management agent and a problem solver, capable to drive evolutions vs. revolutions with an impactful entrepreneurial mindset (talented in prioritizing) /liliAbility to establish strong links and to communicate effectively with external clients and partners, as well as with key internal stakeholders at any level (executive standing) /liliOpen minded/flexible, natural leader and catalyst/persuader, he/she can withstand changes and work under business pressure /liliExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1 level). /liliProficiency in the Office package, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, CRM (, SAP Analytic Cloud, Dynamics), SAP and in any capacity planning tool /liliFamiliarity with major KPIs (OiT, GM, Sales Conversion, EBITDA, NPI, Pipeline, Hit Rate, etc.) /li /ul
