Designs and maintains the organization’s current application architecture and assesses potential impacts of future architecture on current applications. Identifies future system needs, researches, identifies, and plans for the technology that will eventually become necessary to implement at the application level. Develops application solution architectures which align organizational requirements with the functionality and constraints of the off-the-shelf software and related technology solutions. /ph3ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES /h3pOther duties may be assigned. /pulliOptimizes medication delivery application usage and workflow efficiency. /liliCollaborates with IT, pharmacy, and clinical leaders to ensure EMR systems meet end user’s needs, as well as the organizations clinical and patient safety needs. /liliAssigned areas include Willow Inpatient Pharmacy, Beacon, Omnicell, First Data Bank, and IV Oncolog. /liliSupports the design and successful adoption of medication delivery clinical systems across the organization. /liliOversight responsibility for maintaining, testing, and updating dictionaries, drug libraries, and functionalities that support medication delivery. /liliResponsible for coordination of content to ensure standardization and consistency with current evidence-based practice. /liliParticipate in activities to ensure medication delivery systems follow regulatory guidelines. /liliWorks with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medication delivery clinical systems through standardization, change management and ongoing support, to continuously promote improved quality of care and gain efficiencies using technology. /liliServes as the liaison between the pharmacy team, IT Team and clinical leadership. /liliServes as a resource for leadership in the advancement of medication delivery automation and technology. /liliParticipates on committees and with project teams to provide expertise related to medication delivery systems, processes, and technology. /liliProvides outstanding customer service to our customers and maintains positive relationships with other employees and contractors. /liliDesire and willingness to work in a collaborative, innovative, flexible, and team-oriented environment, while displaying a problem-solving orientation to issues daily. /liliTroubleshoots identified issues, solves end user problems, enhances, and optimizes applications. /liliParticipates in ongoing support and maintenance of existing systems and applications. Performs after-hours maintenance as required. /liliCreates and maintains detailed technical documentation for assigned systems. /liliProvides on-call coverage as deemed appropriate by management. /liliIdentifies and escalates production-critical issues to appropriate IT personnel. /liliUses ticketing system to log and monitor tickets. /liliParticipates in projects as deemed appropriate by management. /liliEvaluates and corrects issues involving configuration of applications. /liliParticipates in Disaster Recovery planning, implementation, and testing. /li /ulh3EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS /h3ulliMinimum of a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or related field. /liliCurrent Licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the United States is required. /liliMinimum of 3 years of experience as a pharmacist. /liliEpic and/or third-party vendor certification(s)/accreditation(s) for assigned scope of responsibilities must be successfully obtained within 30 days of completing required first-available classes.
