Kraft Heinz seeks a passionate and driven First Food Retail Category Manager to make a difference! This position lies within the Italy Business Unit and is located in our Milan office. You’ll be working in a robust team, alongside peers always seeking to reach the next level.
This tole reports into the Commercial Category Lead and has the full ownership for the 6P´s Strategy of the Category – Proposition, Product, Pack, Price, Promotion and Place. Your mission is to constantly driving improvement activities through a growth mindset, further engaging both our internal and external consumers.
We are looking for a Category Manager with extensive experience in understanding consumer needs and the retail environment. You have a commercial mindset and a full comprehension of marketing and sales principles.
In brief, you take ownership of:
1. The definition of the Retailer strategy and Channel strategy including price/pack format differentiation.
2. The analysis of sellin/sellout data focused on customer/channel performance in order to monitor plans’ execution and performance.
3. The Business Growth of the Kraft Heinz Company for the assigned category (First Food);
4. Own relationship with account managers and be the main point of reference in the implementation of the commercial strategy.
5. Work with sales on bottom-up planning from customer segmentation and customer surgeries.
6. Working closely with Marketing, Sales and RGM, build the commercial plan for NPD – assumptions on cost price, margin and distribution targets by customer and channel and engage the sales in executional delivery of the plan;
7. Work closely with sales, finance and supply to build accurate forecast by month, quarter and year considering the sellout, sell in and stocks in the market.
Qualifications

8. University Degree, preferably from a Business School
9. 4 – 5 years meaningful experience in category management and trade marketing, preferably in FMCG
10. Interacting easily with team members and not afraid to step up and make things happen
11. Ownership attitude, push to learn through new challenges and capability to drive results and lead independently of age/role
12. Ability to work independently in an analytical and structured way
13. Proficient in English and Italian
