Join our team as a Mobile App developer and be part of an exciting and challenging mission. Your role will involve developing innovative iOS/Android mobile applications, understanding requirements and architectural considerations, and optimizing code for performance, stability, and maintainability. Collaborate with cross-functional cross-geographical teams of application and UI software engineers, as well as QA and Validation teams. This position offers the flexibility of hybrid work. Design and develop mobile applications for connected vehicles, focusing on user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend developers to gather requirements and define app features and functionalities.
Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code for mobile applications, ensuring high performance and reliability.
Integrate mobile apps with the connected vehicle platform, leveraging APIs and SDKs to enable seamless communication and data exchange.
Conduct thorough automated testing and debugging of mobile applications to identify and resolve any issues or bugs, ensuring a smooth user experience.
Collaborate with the QA team to ensure proper testing and quality assurance of mobile applications.
Bachelor's or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Proven (7+ years) experience in mobile app development for iOS or Android platforms, with a strong portfolio of released applications.
Excellent proficiency in programming languages such as Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android).
Experience in integrating mobile apps with cloud services and external APIs or SDKs. Experience in IoT applications a plus.
Knowledge of agile development methodologies, working experience in a Scrum/Kanban team.
Passion for connected vehicle technologies and the automotive industry is a plus.
