Eaton is positioned through its global solutions to answer today’s most critical electrical power management challenges.What you’ll do:The Solution Architect, while being a role model for the other Sales Engineers, is to be a “hunter” driving and developing growth opportunities focusing on recurring business in defined sub-segments. Hunting new opportunities in the existing customer portfolio and the identification of new customers in cooperation with Marketing, Country-Sales-Organizations, and the regional sales teams by generating new business with disruptive solutions including the full Eaton product basket focusing on OEM Machine Manufacturers. Grow the business through proactively hunting new opportunities, assessing, and converting those to a win; eventually ramp-up to MYS (mature-year-sales) agreed turnover. Your responsibilities: Find and fill the sales funnel with new opportunities in the focused application. Convert the right opportunities to a win. Ramp-up the won opportunities. Outgrow our business. Focus on value-based solutions and ecosystem for low-to-mid complexity application by pushing the full Eaton product basket. Execute Proof-of-Concepts together with lead customers managing responsibilities within the assigned team. Gather innovation, technology, and customer needs, share those with the product lines and the engineering organization and propose specific strategies. Investigate with Market Intelligence team customer opportunities for standardization, focus on applications which can be repeatable. Strong contribution to the ICP strategy definition. Seeing ahead future possibilities and develop strategies out of this. Participation in regional and national trade fairs Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering / electronic / mechatronic / systems engineering or similar Work- experience in Electric / Electronics sector in the industrial automation field (no less than 10 years of experience) Skills:Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in machinery automation Business Acumen, familiarity with P&L, cost estimation, pricing, and commercial terms, etc. Familiarity with CRM and other sales tools Experience in collaboration with distributed (virtual) teams Strong problem-solving skills and basic skills in project management Travel: YES (approximately 75% of the time) Fluent in the CSO Local Language (preferred mother-tongue) and English (oral and written B1-B2 level) What Eaton offers:Permanent contract in fast growing global companyLearning & Development - We invest in our employees for the long term – not just with salary and benefits, but with ongoing learning and development opportunities made available through Eaton UniversityInclusion & Diversity - Openness to diversity widens our access to the best talent.
