Sales & Business Development Manager - Bike
The Role
Reporting directly to the Head of Sales, the Sales & Business Development Manager will drive revenue growth and expand the brand's global market presence. This role is not just about transactional selling; it is about strategic partnership management—ensuring that distributors and dealers are aligned with the brand's premium positioning and long-term vision.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow sales with existing international distributors, ensuring strong commercial performance and sustainable long-term partnerships.
* Take responsibility for sales and inventory management for assigned accounts to ensure healthy stock levels and high sell-through rates.
* Analyze sales performance, margins, pricing, and market trends to provide data-driven insights.
* Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and detailed performance reports.
* Assist distributors and dealers with commercial strategies, merchandising, and go-to-market plans.
* Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities with dealers and partners in key or emerging markets (Gravel, Urban, Performance).
* Work closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to ensure seamless end-to-end account management.
* Represent the brand at major international trade shows, dealer meetings, and industry events.
Qualifications & Requirements
* 2–3 years of proven experience in sales or business development, preferably within an international distribution model.
* Experience in the cycling industry or premium sporting goods/outdoor sector is a significant plus.
* Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken) for daily interaction with international partners.
* Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis (approx. 20-30%).
